The official David Austin Gertrude Jekyll rose is always one of the first english roses to start flowering, its perfectly scrolled buds open to large, rosette shaped flowers of bright glowing pink.

The Alnwick Garden Rose Garden is kindly sponsored by David Austin Roses and has been since 2001. In late June and early July, The Rose Garden erupts into an abundance of colour and smell that’s a treat for the senses. Featuring 3000 English shrub roses and climbers, The Rose Garden requires all round care and maintenance from our Gardening Team.
