Behind the lockable wrought iron gates at The Alnwick Garden is a paradise of poison containing around a hundred different varieties of toxic, intoxicating and narcotic plants. The world’s deadliest garden is a combination of dark, ivy-covered tunnels and flame-shaped beds, creating an educational garden full of interest and intrigue. The most dangerous plants are kept in giant cages and is only open on guided tours. Visitors are strictly prohibited from smelling, touching, or tasting any plants.
